Questions, answered.
Everything you might wonder before booking. Don’t see your question? Email us at programs@yogyaahar.com.
Are consultations virtual or in-person?
All consultations are virtual via Zoom, phone, or chat. Clients across India and abroad work with us from anywhere.
Where are you based?
Mumbai, India. The clinic is at Assure Clinic, De Mall, Andheri West. Practice is virtual-first.
What languages do you consult in?
English and Hindi.
Do you work with men and women?
Yes — both. Programs are designed around individual physiology, not gender stereotypes.
What if I'm not in India?
We have clients in the UK, USA, UAE, Singapore, and Australia. Time zones are accommodated.
How do I know which program is right for me?
Take the 2-minute assessment quiz, or book a 30-minute consultation. We'll guide you to the right fit.
How long are the programs?
Most programs run 12 weeks; some (PCOS, gut health, motherhood) extend to 16–24 weeks.
Can I switch programs partway?
Yes. If your needs change (e.g. you become pregnant, get diagnosed with something), we adjust.
What's included in a program?
Clinical assessment, personalized plan, weekly/bi-weekly check-ins, WhatsApp/email support, plan adjustments, and progress tracking.
Do I get meal plans?
Yes — but they're guides, not menus. We give you food categories, portions, timing, and combinations, then build flexibility around your real life.
Are supplements included?
Recommendations only. We don't sell supplements. You source them yourself based on what your labs/symptoms justify.
What happens after I book?
You'll get a confirmation email with a brief intake form and a Zoom link. Submit the form 24h before your consultation.
What should I prepare?
Recent blood work (last 6 months), any prior diet plans, a 3-day food diary, and a list of medications/supplements you take.
How quickly do I get my plan after consultation?
Within 48 hours. You'll get a detailed PDF + WhatsApp summary.
What if I miss a check-in?
We reschedule. Continuity matters more than perfection.
Can I message between calls?
Yes — WhatsApp is open during business hours for course-corrections and questions.
Is my data private?
Yes. We comply with India's DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR. Your data is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.
Where is my health data stored?
On encrypted, India-based servers. DNA reports, when shared, are analyzed and not stored.
Can I request my data be deleted?
Yes, anytime. Email programs@yogyaahar.com and we delete all your records within 30 days.
Do you record consultations?
Only with your consent. Recordings are for your reference and deleted from our side within 30 days.
Are testimonials anonymous?
We never share names, photos, or identifying details without explicit written consent.
What's the difference between a nutritionist and a dietitian?
In India, both terms overlap. Trishala is a Master's-qualified Clinical Nutritionist with hospital and clinical training — equivalent to RD-level practice.
Do you work with kids?
We work with children 12+ alongside their parents. For younger children we refer to pediatric specialists.
Can vegetarians/vegans/Jains be accommodated?
Absolutely. Most of our clients are vegetarian. We routinely build plans for vegan, Jain, halal, and other dietary frameworks.
Will you give me a strict do-not-eat list?
No. We do strategic, time-bound eliminations when they help — never permanent food bans.
Do I need to weigh and measure all my food?
Briefly, yes — for the first 2–3 weeks to calibrate. After that, you eat by sight.
